Assistant Accountant Contract

Opportunity: This is an innovative and progressive IT company which is in the process of breaking new ground in Accounting System development. Supporting the Financial Controller during the implementation of a new accounting system you will:

  • Reconciliations between old and new systems
  • Control Accounts
  • Posting onto General ledger system
  • Working alongside the FC to prepare and finalise monthly accounts
  • Involvement in annual budgets, year-end accounts and audits
  • Other Ad hoc reporting as required by the FC

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years experience working within an accounts/bookkeeping role
  • Ideally has worked in a multi-currency environment
  • Strong reconciliations experience
  • Experience of working within a software/IT environment an advantage
  • Knowledge of US Gaap revenue recognition processes an advantage
  • Experience with consolidated accounts an advantage

Salary / Remuneration: 25 - 30 K plus and outstanding benefits package.
