Statutory Accountant required for permanent role with leading Cork company. You will work in a team reporting into the group financial controller. You will be a qualified acccountant with 2-3 years industry experience. Exposure of US GAAP a definite adavantge.

Main duties of the role are:

· Preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with local requirements for all applicable European legal entities

· Reconciliation of the statutory financial statements to the management accounts

· Support external auditors in the completion of statutory audits and filing of statutory financials for all applicable legal entities

· Liase with the General Accounting and Tax groups

· Ensure company books of account and records are maintained in accordance with local country law

· Co-ordination of Audit fee payment, as per approved budget

· Compliance with European VAT, tax and fiscal requirements

· Assume main responsibility for Intercompany Month End for EU_SSC

· Process and analyse financial data related to the General Accounting (GA) system. Key areas for assigned business units include:
