Job Title
Pensions Accountant
Leading Financial Services and Insurance Company who are experiencing rapid expansion within their Pensions and Investments division are looking for a qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA candidate with 5+ years experience within a Pensions Accounting capacity to join their organisation.
Responsibilities
- Account preparation for all Pension related accounts.
- Liaising with Internal Auditors to ensure that all policies are compliant with the internal policies of the organisation and SOX.
- Manage the activities of the Pensions Accounting area.
- Preparation of Financial Statements in line with local and US GAA
- Presenting financial Statements to a board of Directors
- Responsible for the management of 2 junior Accounting Technicians providing them with support and guidance and micro management if required.
Requirements
- Min of 4 years Accounting experience (2 of which are in a pensions related capacity)
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Highly organised with a flare for working independently of others
- Strong Commercial acumen with the ability to make important decisions at short notice.
