Job Description
Financial Reporting Analyst Required - 12 Months Contract
Responsible for the submission of monthly Trial Balance information, quarterly and year end forms ensuring compliance to Company Accounting Standards and Sarbanes Oxley controls.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Prepare and record monthly marketing accruals, deduction accruals in accordance with company standard practice & procedures
- Communicate with business unit contacts on all marketing related queries
- Prepare and issue marketing and deduction related credit notes to customers
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for month-end trial balance submissions to Headquarters
- Monthly review of income statement & balance sheet prior to submission
- Run and validate remeasurement & translation
- Manage the VAT compliance
- Ad hoc requests/projects to support Accounting Services Management & objectives
Skills/Experience
- Strong technical skills: Excel, SAP
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Understanding of operational excellence / lean principles and tools
- 3+ years experience in a multi-national environment with reporting experience,
- Strong technical and analytical skills,
- Detailed knowledge of SAP and exposure to statutory reporting
Education / Professional Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant or near completion of professional accounting qualification
