The main focus of your role is to bring new customers on board by selling to them a variety of financial products, such as pensions, savings, investments and life cover.
You will be provided 2 weeks paid training and will also be able to study to become QFA qualified. You can work from home or from the office, whichever is more convenient to you however once a week you will meet a manager to discuss your progress. You will also have the support of an area manager who can attend some meetings with you if you feel you may need the support.
Roles / Responsibilities:
- Lead generation
- Targeting new prospects - meeting min of 12 potential customers per week
- Closing the sale - on average 4 sales per week
Skills / Experience:
- Strong business development experience - ideally 5 years +
- While not essential, experience in a commission only or a self employed role previously would be an advantage
Personal Attributes:
- Strong networker - natural market for you to initially use as your sales base
- Self driven and self motivated to manage your own work load & ensure you are generating enough leads for you to succeed
- Driven and with great perseverance
- Confident and willing to learn about the financial products & market
- Confident in your ability to succeed in a commission only role - the money is there to be earned by the right business developer!
