Our client is a leading provider of General & Life Assurance products in the Dublin Market. They are offering an excellent opportunity to a Part Qualified or QBE candidate to assist the Financial Controller in a growing Finance team

The Position:

Provide full assistance to the Finance and Office Manager in the following areas:

  • Full management and reconciliation of bank accounts and accounting records.
  • Producing management reports as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines in relation to all financial matters.
  • Liaising with auditors in relation to management accounts and audits.
  • Development and documentation of internal controls and procedures.
  • Staff management and supervision.
  • Administration of the Office.

The Candidate:

  • IATI Qualified or ACA/ACCA p/q
  • Experience in finance/accounts areas in an Insurance company is an advantage
  • To have the ability to work on own initiative within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
  • Flexibility and enthusiastic attitude are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills also essential.
  • Studying for accountancy qualifications an advantage.

Dependant on experience
