A cutting edge multinational providing services to Europe from their offices in Cork seek to recruit an Accounts Payable professional with supervisory and International Shared Service Center experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with French suppliers and fluency in French would be a distinct advantage.

Job description

  • The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 5 years Shared Service Centre Accounts Payable experience, supervisory experience and Fluent French would be a distinct advantage.
  • This is an entirely new position for their Cork site and the successful candidate will be a highly talented individual with people management skills, excellent knowledge of AP processes and procedures coupled with a track record in managing relationships and SOX compliance.
  • Reporting to the AP Manager the AP Team Leader will take responsibility for the operational performance of the AP department and supervise a team of AP specialists.

The Person:

  • At least 5 years of AP experience from a Shared Service Centre is essential and some supervisory experience Fluent French is required, however in the absence of this skill experience with French markets will also be considered
  • SAP or Oracle working experience will be considered an advantage Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; financial and commercial awareness Strong work ethics, maturity and leadership qualities Higher education in Finance/ Accounting would be an advantage
