Assistant Accountant Contract

Opportunity: This is a dynamic and varied role for a bright and motivated Assistant Accountant who wishes to gain some unique experience.  This is a system integration which will allow you to gain experience in system which in the future will be common place. 

  • Assist the FC to prepare and finalise monthly accounts
  • Control Accounts
  • Posting onto General ledger system
  • Some Reconciliation
  • Involvement in annual budgets, year-end accounts and audits
  • Other Ad hoc reporting as required by the FC

Experience:

  • 2 + years experience
  • Ideally has worked in a multi-currency environment
  • Experience of working within a software/IT environment an advantage
  • Knowledge of US Gaap revenue recognition processes an advantage

Salary / Remuneration: 25 - 30 K plus and outstanding benefits package.
